I've been interested in "stone fruit" trees ever since I was a young child. I have great memories of harvesting peaches, every August, from two dwarf peach trees my family kept in our front yard. The trees provided, probably, the most delicious, juiciest, beautiful peaches I have ever tasted. Moreover, it was a terrific, dare I say magical, learning experience watching the trees grow, enjoying the hot pink blossoms, and, of course, sharing these treasured peaches with neighbors.
